This has been something that I have wanted to do for a while now — to write more and to write often. Topics that I want to write about often rattle in my head. Sometimes, I even have detailed sentences and paragraphs.
And, then, they are gone. Those thoughts just vanish, fade away, melt away. Poof. Gone.
Have to write them down — put them down on paper, or the computer, as the case may be.
The thing is that writing is not easy. It takes investing time and more. It takes diligence. Much like anything else, no?
Want to be good in your job? It takes investing time and more. It takes diligence.
Want to have a good relationship with someone? It takes investing time and more. It takes diligence.
Want to learn to do anything new? It takes investing time and more. It takes diligence.
So, friends, here I am… willing to invest the time and more. Willing to be more diligent. It is a new year, right? As good a time as any to start.
